Our whyTinker offers regular afterschool term classes in Toowoomba & Highfields.
Our classes encourage creative confidence and individuality. Founded by Alex Stalling, with over a decade of teaching the creative arts to adults and kids Tinker was founded on the belief that everyone should have access to authentic arts programs that develop our individual creative confidence. At Tinker we understand that outcomes happen naturally. Through providing creative autonomy and developing confidence in our skills. Balanced with an understanding of artistic mediums we develop indiviudal creative curiosity and trust. Tinker is passionate about working with professional, practicing artists with different styles and influences. A practicing artist is one who has created a professional career from their craft. We believe exposure to individuality and difference is key in the development of young creative minds. Individuality is our difference. We love to give students the space to explore different techniques that adapt to their own interests. We believe in gently challenging their comfort zones and we embrace both the wins and the not so great artworks too. It's all about creating a safe space for creative development and exploration. |
